IDLE SPEED CONTROL (ISC) SOLENOID VALVE

With the engine off, unplug the ISC connector, and connect an ohmmeter across the terminals.  If the resistance isn't within 5.4 to 6.6ohms (at 68-F, 20-C), then replace the solenoid.

Unbolt the solenoid from the TBI.  Using a jumper wire connected to a 12vDC source, energize the solenoid and verify operation. If no clicking sound is heard, replace it.  CAUTION:  Only energize the solenoid for 1 second, do not attempt to energize again for another ten seconds.
